About Me
My approach to therapy is grounded in creating a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I view each person through a holistic and strengths-based lens, recognizing that growth emerges when individuals feel safe to explore their inner experiences with honesty and curiosity. I integrate evidence-based techniques with a flexible, personalized style, adapting each session to meet the client’s unique needs, goals, and pace. I walk alongside clients as they gain insight, develop new skills, and build deeper self-understanding. Regardless of the reason for coming to counselling, I incorporate self-compassion into both individual and couple work.
I am a trauma-informed therapist registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers holding a Master degree in Social Work. With over two decades of experience in the field, I also hold a Life Coach certification from the Certified Coaches Federation, and am a Certified Sex Therapist Informed Practitioner. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities in my work including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Imago Relational Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness. I draw from multiple theories, depending on the client’s goals and needs, as everyone brings unique strengths and skills to the session.
